The Swiss hydropathist Arnold Rikli discovered that the gentle climate and the lake and thermal waters are a source of good health and well-being. The thermal springs in its north-eastern part are led into three swimming pools - Grand Hotel Toplice, Hotel Park and Hotel Golf. The facilities at all three of the mentioned hotels include Wellness Centers. Lake Bled became popular in the 19th century as a spa and the hotels continue that tradition with wellness centers and Bled sauna.

If you want to relax with a delightful massage or yoga classes in Bled, then you can go to the Živa Wellness Centre at the Golf Hotel. The range of massages available includes part-body, classic, Thai, ayurvedic, sports, aromatherapy, anti-stress or synchronized massage, massage with hot stones, lymphatic drainage and reflexology. Luisa studio in the Grand Hotel Toplice also offer massages, as well as Thai Centre Bled which is located at the Park Hotel.

At the Golf Hotel, Bled’s rich healing tradition has been combined with the latest knowledge, thus creating the first all-round Wellness Centre in Bled. The Živa Wellness Centre provides a thermal swimming pool complex, including two larger indoor pools with a number of massage beds, a children’s pool and a smaller outdoor pool. The sauna centre offers four saunas, as well as diverse cooling areas. On top of this, a vast choice of programs attending to the guests’ beauty, relaxation and wellbeing is available. The Wellness Centre also features a sun room, herbal and hay baths, music therapy, meditation, raindrop therapy, hot stone massage and much more.

Luisa Studio in the Grand Hotel Toplice is a paradise for all who wish to enjoy precious days of relaxation in Bled. The pure water in the hotel’s elegant, colonnaded swimming pool is drawn directly from a thermal spring (22°C). Bathing in the pool benefits the heart, cardiovascular and nervous systems. You may also indulge yourself in various massages, or choose from the Finnish, the Turkish and the infrared sauna. Additionally, the Hotel offers a solarium, and a private lido. After a visit to the beauty parlor, you will feel refreshed in body and mind.

The Thai relaxation centre in at the Park Hotel offers six massage rooms, furnished in the Thai style. The Bled Thai relaxation and wellbeing centre features traditional Thai massages and several kinds of relaxation programs with a touch of Asian philosophy. With the help of carefully selected aromatic oils and warm extracts of Thai herbs, the highly-trained staff, who originate from Thailand, will make you feel reborn. Massage relaxes muscles, improves blood circulation, reduces stress, eases pain in the spine, strengthens internal organs and maintains vitality. The infrared sauna is also part of the centre’s offer. The temperatures in this sauna are between 40 and 55ºC, however, due to the infrared rays, the warmth penetrates the skin more deeply and more effectively in spite of the lower temperatures.

The Marija Wellness Studio in Vila Bled provides a Jacuzzi, Finnish and Turkish saunas and a private lido with a boathouse.
