Paphos public transport

Paphos used to be the only traffic-free city in Cyprus. However, in the last 10 years a lot has changed. There is no railroad and therefore no trainservice available in Paphos. Public transport in Paphos is currently served by buses only. Busfares are cheap; it costs only seventy cents to ride to any location on the bus. You can buy your ticket on the bus.

Alternative travel information

You can also rent a car. Renting bikes and scooters is also possible but keep in mind that the accident rate is quite high. For visitors interested in really seeing the local transportation of the area, donkey rides are available for short distances. Taxi’s provide an alternative method of travelling.
